Ann met her husband at the YMCA while taking swimming
lessons. They have similar interests; both love to cook and
love the theater. She says, "we have been blessed with 2
terrific sons, Michael and Johnny. Our beautiful
daughters-in-law, Joanne and Tina, have been a delightful
addition to our family." Ann and Peter love and adore their
two grandchildren, Cassidy and Logan, who have brought them
much joy. In the year 2000 Ann, Peter, son Michael and his
wife Joanne went on a vacation trip to Italy and had a
fabulous time. They relive their trip over and over looking
at the 500 plus photos they took.
Her most unforgettable and embarrassing moment came when she
and her mother were traveling to Connecticut, by train, via
Grand Central Station in NYC. The station seemed unusually
deserted and the area near the ticket booth was roped off.
Ann climbed over the rope & when she got to the ticket
agent, was told they were in the middle of filming a movie
and to come back later. As the turned to leave, she found
herself staring into the eyes of Cary Grant !! He
smiled and she was so shocked she couldn't move - someone
had to physically remove her. The movie was "North by
Northwest" and she recommends it highly, if you haven't
seen it already. She mentions that scene was
deleted. !!!
Ann retired from a part-time job at BMW, N.A., where she was
the receptionist. Her interests are theater, fine dining
and tennis. |
