Roger's love of sports has been lifelong. He's now retired
from teaching phys ed and machine shop, as well as coaching
in the Miami-Dade public school system. He's still into
sports and is proud of "reeling in a blue marlin (263
pounds) on a 20 pound test line".
Roger and Diana have been married for 44 years and have 4
children; Lisa, Susan, Andy and Jim, plus nine --count'em 9
-- grandsons to keep things lively.All four of their kids became teachers, so the profession
continues into the next generation.
Roger and family enjoy the Florida lifestyle, swimming,
snorkeling and fishing. They also enjoy traveling. He
counts as the highlights of his life, "I have a happy
marriage; raised two girls and two boys, who all went
through college. We have two vacation homes - one in the
Florida Keys and one on Cape Cod - to keep us busy." |
