Katherine tells us that her life changed dramatically in 1965 when she moved to San Francisco to live with her cousin Pat.  Pat was an adventurous soul and every weekend planned an adventure for the two of them to explore.  Katherine says it opened up a new world of travel to her.  She then traveled with a friend to Europe and England, where she has relatives.  She claims it was the trip of a lifetime until this year when they went to Alaska on a 7 day cruise, which took the inside passage and then from Anchorage to Denali (Mt.McKinley).  She loved it and  can't wait for the next cruise !!

Katherine met her husband, Wayne, when they were both working for Hartford Insurance in San Francisco.  They married in 1969 and lived in that area until 1974, when  Wayne was transferred to Hartford. where they have lived for the last 30 years.  Katherine worked for Avon Products as a Sales Rep for 20 years prior to her retirement.  She claims the biggest change in her since high school is that she finally overcame her shyness and learned to enjoy life.  Her interests and hobbies are photography, flower arranging and going to tag sales.   Wayne is active in the Lion's Club and together they keep busy taking care of their home and their "7" cats.    Katherine  says she is happy and life is full !!
