After BHS Doris married and
had "two beautiful, intelligent and successful"
children, Laura and Linda, who, in turn presented her
with "three bright and beautiful grandchildren".
Unfortunately, her husband is deceased.
Doris' 25-year career in
sales and marketing management in the medical device
industry afforded her opportunities "to work with and
meet fabulous people, including top surgeons
nationwide. These affiliations would later prove
invaluable during periods of family crises".
Among her unforgettable
moments are the births of her children, and later their
weddings and the births of their children. She also
treasures a great trip to Europe, "standing at the top
of the world at the Matterhorn". Not to be forgotten is
the "taking a bad fall and breaking a leg in two
places--which teaches one not to take things for
granted, like the simple act of walking".
Now retired, Doris enjoys
travel, volunteer work and spending time with family and
friends
