After earning her BS degree in teaching at Paterson State Teachers College, Lynne taught elementary school, in Dumont, for 38 years.  She says she enjoyed it tremendously and still keeps in touch with some of her former students.

She and her husband Michael, have done quite a bit of traveling over the years to Europe, the Middle East, South America, etc.  Lately though, Lynne says, most of her excursions are on cruise ships.  It's easier !!

She and Michael spend their free time at the Jersey shore where they have a vacation home in Sea Girt.  Lynne can just relax and pursue her hobby which is doing crossword puzzles. (Many of us share your enthusiasm for that Lynne.)

Lynne mentions her fondest memories of  Bogota High School are the teachers and friends she made, especially Lucy Brechtel, who is her oldest and dearest friend.  Considering Lynne only came to BHS in her Junior year (when her parents moved the family to Maywood), it's amazing she remembers us at all.  She is looking  forward to seeing everyone in October.

Kathy married in 1959 and moved to Clifton.  In 1978, she started working for Panasonic Company in Secaucus as a Temp.  Shortly thereafter, the company invited her to work full time in  Order Entry  Processing.  After 5 years, she became supervisor and then assistant manager of the Order Entry Department.  In 2001, the company came out with a retirement package and she took it.  As of December, 2001, she has been living a life of leisure as a blond.  You know what they say: Blonds have more fun!

Her greatest achievement was becoming a mother and raising two wonderful boys.  One lives in Florida and works in construction, and the other is a chef and lives in Virginia.

Embarrassing moment?  Kathy remembers going to Atlantic City with a friend, and, after a long stroll on the boardwalk, nature called.  They began a frantic search for facilities, and finally walked into an Irish Pub.  She asked the bartender where the ladies room was, and he pointed in the general direction of the back of the room.  Kathy raced in and was about to leave when a man walked in.  She ducked back into the stall and waited for him to leave.  He had spied her and said, "I guess you walked into the wrong bathroom".  She called out, "Yes, I guess so".  (The bathroom doors were coyly marked Lads and Lassies, and in her haste, ended up in the Lads').  Finally, when it was "all clear" she emerged from the Lads' Room, only to be greeted by a flash of light and some hysterical laughter.  The "gentleman" in the bathroom had a friend with a camera.  Then the two comedians offered her a copy of the picture for $20.00.  Needless to say, she laughed and took off pronto!
