Marilyn and Rick had been married for 33 years until his
untimely death in 1989.They raised two girls, Diana Lyn and
Joanne Marie and have two grandchildren, Katherine Marie
(14) and Richard Allen (12).
Marilyn reflects on her life with Rick, "Prior to his death
my husband, Rick, had been a United States Coast Guard
helicopter pilot for 31 years, retiring in 1986 with the
rank of Captain." He then went to work for Boeing as a
Flight Instructor for the 757 and 767.
Besides having her children and grandchildren, Marilyn
cherishes the memories she has and the lifelong friends they
made (having moved 17 times within 9 states) over 33 years.
She says, "I haven't changed much. I just value my family
and friends so much more." |
