Chuck is retired from the Otis Elevator Company where he
held the position of Maintenance Supervisor.When asked how he had changed since high school, his answer
is "other than a slight hair loss, nary a whit!"
His interests are golf, travel, friends and family. Chuck
says that he and his wife Rose try to get in a round of golf
every day, even if it means pulling on those long johns in
the cold weather months. Now that's devotion to a hobby
!!
Chuck's most unforgettable moment was the New York City
blackout of 1965. As an Otis Elevator supervisor, he worked
from 5:30 PM when the blackout began thru 8:00 AM the
following morning, removing passengers from elevators
thruout the Wall
Street area.
